Sunday, July 24 Individual arrival at Kronberg There is no official program planned. Michael Knorz and his wife Petrina will be in Kronberg to welcome guests. |

Monday, July 25
Individual Breakfast at Schlosshotel Kronberg All golfers: 11.00 – 17.00 Golf at Schlosshotel Kronberg. We will meet at the course at 10.45. Michael Knorz and his wife Petrina will welcome all golfers and distribute the rental clubs. All non—golfers: 10.45 – 13.15 Guided walking tour of the village of Kronberg. Taxis or shuttle busses will depart from the Schlosshotel Kronberg at 10.45. Tennis players: 15.00 – 17.00 You may sign up for some tennis with Thomas Kohnen. Please contact me at knorz@eyes.de if you are interested ! Thomas will pick you up and take you back to the hotel. All participants: 18:15 Departure by bus to Frankfurt–Sachsenhausen for dinner at the traditional „apple wine“ restaurant Apfelweinwirtschaft A. Wagner. Sachsenhausen is a suburb of Frankfurt, famous for apple wine (Wine made from apple juice) and local food (very unhealthy, but tasty!). Busses will depart around 22.00 for the trip back to the hotel. |

Tuesday, July 26
Individual Breakfast at Schlosshotel Kronberg All participants: City tour of Frankfurt and visit to the Schirn Art Gallery. 10.45 departure by bus to Frankfurt 11.30 – 12.30 guided tour of the Schirn Art Gallery 12.30 – 13.30 free time to shop in Frankfurt 13.30 - 15.00 guided walking tour of the newly restored old city of Frankfurt 15.00 – 16.00 city tour of Frankfurt by bus 16.00 - 16.45 return to Schlosshotel Kronberg Tennis players: 15.00 – 17.00 You may sign up for some tennis with Thomas Kohnen. Wednesday, July 27 Individual Breakfast at Schlosshotel Kronberg Participants of scientific program: 9.00 – 13.00 scientific program at Schlosshotel Kronberg All other participants: Visit to the city of Mainz 9.30 departure from Schlosshotel Kronberg to the city of Mainz for a city tour 10.30 – 11.30 city tour with the Gutenberg Express, a modified train running through the city center of Mainz 11.30 – 13.00 free time to explore Mainz and / or shop 13.00 – 13.45 return by bus to Schlosshotel Kronberg All participants: Visit to Eberbach Monastery 15.15 departure by bus from Schlosshotel Kronberg 16.30 guided tour of Eberbach Monastery (The name of the Rose was filmed there) with wine tasting 18.00 dinner at Eberbach Monastery 20.30 bus returns to Schlosshotel Kronberg |

Friday, July 29 Individual Breakfast at Schlosshotel Kronberg All participants: Transfer from Schlosshotel Kronberg to Tegernsee, Southern Germany, Hotel Das Tegernsee Stop-over in the city of Heidelberg 9.00 departure from Schlosshotel Kronberg to Heidelberg by luxury bus 10.15 – 11.15 guided tour to the castle of Heidelberg 11.15 – 11.30 transfer from the castle to the old auditorium of the University of Heidelberg 11.30 – 12.30 reception at the auditorium of the university and welcome by Gerd Auffarth 12.30 – 17.00 continued trip to Tegernsee 17.00 estimated arrival at Hotel Das Tegernsee 18.45 departure from hotel to city center of Tegernsee 19.00 dinner at a traditional Bavarian beer garden, “Tegernseer Hofbräuhaus” |
